Strawberry Blossom Weevil

A pest module template for outdoor and indoor production has been approved by CFIA for Canadian exporters of Fragaria, Rosa and Rubus.

Effective Sept. 14, 2021 new entry requirements for the importation of Fragaria spp., Rosa spp., and Rubus spp. plants produced in Canada are designed to prevent the introduction of the strawberry blossom weevil into the United States.

Landscape Ontario has learned the United States will require all Fragaria, Rosa and Rubrus plants from Canada to meet new requirements to ensure they do not contain Strawberry Blossom Weevil.
